About the Image Resizer

The image resizer changes the width and height of a picture in pixels. You can fit an image inside a box, fill and crop it to exact dimensions, or pad it with a background colour, stretch it, keep or ignore the aspect ratio, prevent upscaling, and resize a whole batch at once.

Frequently asked questions

How do I resize an image without distorting it?
Use the Fit mode, which keeps the original aspect ratio and scales the image to fit inside your width and height. Use Fill to cover the box exactly, cropping the overflow.
What is the largest size I can resize to?
Width and height can each be set up to 24,000 pixels.
Can I resize several images to the same size?
Yes. Add them all, set the dimensions once and press ZIP to resize and download the batch.
Are my images uploaded or stored?
Each image is sent over HTTPS to the Image Tools server, processed in memory with the sharp image library and returned straight to your browser. Files are not saved, logged or shared, and nothing is kept after the response is sent.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
Yes, it is completely free with no sign-up, no watermark on your results and no daily quota. Open the page, add your images and download the output.
