Frequently asked questions

Is PDF to Images free?

Yes. PDF to Images is completely free, with no account, no sign-up, no watermark added to your files and no daily limit.

Are my files uploaded when I use PDF to Images?

No. The PDF is opened and processed inside your browser with JavaScript, so the file never leaves your device and is not stored on any server.

What DPI should I use?

150 DPI is a good default for screens and sharing. Use 300 DPI for printing or when you need sharp text; files will be larger and take longer to render.

How do I convert a PDF to JPG?

Add the PDF, set the format to JPEG, choose the pages and click Convert Pages. Each page becomes its own JPG image.

Does it work on a phone or tablet?

Yes. It works in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on desktop, Android and iOS. Nothing needs to be installed.
