Frequently asked questions
Is Merge PDFs free?
Yes. Merge PDFs is completely free, with no account, no sign-up, no watermark added to your files and no daily limit.
Are my files uploaded when I use Merge PDFs?
No. The PDF is opened and processed inside your browser with JavaScript, so the file never leaves your device and is not stored on any server.
Can I merge only some pages from each PDF?
Yes. Each file in the list has its own page field, so you can keep "all" pages from one file and only "2-4" from another.
Is there a file size limit?
Each PDF can be up to 50 MB. Because processing happens on your device, very large or image-heavy files may take longer on older phones and laptops.
Does it work on a phone or tablet?
Yes. It works in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox on desktop, Android and iOS. Nothing needs to be installed.
